I strongly disagree with this justification.  The package is very
useful for many people, it doesn't work in specific environment
only.  I'd say it should be wishlist, wishing one particular feature
(running x86_64 executables on powerpc) to be working, but I'll use
`normal' severity instead.

Unfortunately this is impossible for me, because I don't have powerpc
systems around, and can't run your environment.  Maybe it is possible
to reproduce this problem inside qemu powerpc virtual machine (using
qemu-system-ppc), but I don't know anything about powepc, and don't
even know what's needed to install/run a powerpc debian system.

Hence I'm tagging this bugreport with `help' tag.  Maybe someone
else will be able to help.
