Thanks, that is good to hear. Reading through the texinfo mailing
lists I see that there was a bit heavy decision concerning this
change.

It might be better to use
kpsewhich -var-value save-size
and check what it is. But anyway, if 10000 suffices that is good enough.

Great, does that mean I don't need to investigate 3.8.2 build fixes
anymore? I am on a conference and low on time, so I couldn't
do more testing and fixing for the 3.8.2 version.
