I think that's correct, yes. The patches I sent upstream to GLib haven't
been reviewed yet; but PCRE 8.35 is already in unstable on amd64, so
it's already causing trouble for GLib, and an upload that builds on
the other architectures would at least make multiarch work again.

In any future PCRE updates it's probably worthwhile to try rebuilding
glib2.0 against the new PCRE before uploading to unstable - its regression
tests are fairly comprehensive. If the tests fail, either the new PCRE
is problematic, or glib2.0 will need some attention before bringing in
the new PCRE. Either way, I'm sure the glib2.0 maintainers would
appreciate caution.
