It's your decision in the end.
My proposal is to let the 2.5.2-3.1 in (I can also move it to 0-day
for immediate acceptance), then this issue is out of the way; and
then you have all the time you need to prepare 2.5.3-1 and sort out
the maintainer and DM questions.
