Package: grep Version: 2.5.1.ds2-3 Severity: critical The new grep package linked to libpcre renders the whole system unbootable if /usr does not reside on the root partition. Boot scripts which are executed before /usr is mounted already use grep and fail badly wiothout an libpcre being available!
