Yes, the scim-tables package need to adapt to scim 1.4 ABI. However this is not trival (can't be solved by a simple rebuild, like the case for scim-uim), as the IM engine code is moved from scim package to scim-tables package since scim 1.2, so scim-tables 0.4.3 will FTBFS with the scim 1.4.1 packages, and a new upstream version is needed. See bug #327315 [1] for the problems and progress of packaging a new upstream version.
