Typing openscad at the shell prompt.
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Upgraded all dependencies.  I also tried the version in Experimental.
   * What was the outcome of this action?
It still segfaulted.
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
I hoped that the program would run, indicating an incorrect dependency.
It still segfaulted.
