Package: libssl0.9.8 Version: 0.9.8-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
This is mainly a guess/warning. A few minutes ago I ran aptitude to upgrade all but the libc6 packages and pulled in 0.9.8a-1 versions of libssl and openssl. But right after an uneventful install, I saw that ssh would always segfault. So I downgraded those two packages and now ssh works again. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.13.4 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages libssl0.9.8 depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.58 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8-3 SSL shared libraries libssl0.9.8 recommends no packages. -- debconf information: libssl0.9.8/restart-services: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
