As said, the user session agent (nm-applet and pnm) need to be updated for NM
0.9 to provide the necessary secrets (passwords/keys) to NM. See also the log:

I can only guess this is a fuckup in the versioning of the trinity
knetworkmanager packages which are not supported by Debian.
