As said, the user session agent (nm-applet and pnm) need to be updated for NM 0.9 to provide the necessary secrets (passwords/keys) to NM. See also the log: NetworkManager[15420]:<warn> Activation (wlan0/wireless): asking for new secrets NetworkManager[15420]:<debug> [1316954160.819812] [nm-agent-manager.c:1021] get_start(): (0x95b290/802-11-wireless-security) system settings secrets insufficient, asking agents NetworkManager[15420]:<debug> [1316954160.819930] [nm-settings-connection.c:648] agent_secrets_done_cb(): (da5e2553-551b-4dc1-bff2-afbbbd6c08f6/802-11-wireless-security:1) secrets request error: (6) No agents were available for this request.
