Sorry, I missed your question.  "st" is a program that people launch,
like xterm (in fact, it is an alternative to xterm).  In addition to
being something people use directly, it might be used in the
configuration of programs that want a command to launch a terminal.
So it's probably pretty closely analagous to the case in Swift.

Cc-ing the suckless-tools maintainers in case they have further
thoughts on that subject.
