Hi,

Are you sure there's not a libcairo2 upgrade somewhere ? (like maybe
from 1.8.8-something)

There is this one:

jul...@rotule:~$ cat /var/log/dpkg.log | grep libcairo2 | grep upgrade
2010-09-02 12:07:37 upgrade libcairo2 1.8.10-4 1.8.10-5

but that's the one you made me do this morning. Would the installation of the unstable version of libcairo2 this morning have erased a previous upgrade in /var/log/dpkg.log.1 ? Because around the date of my full-upgrade (the one that caused the problem), I don't see anything:

jul...@rotule:~$ cat /var/log/dpkg.log.1 | grep libcairo2 | grep upgrade
-> nothing

start with xserver-xorg-video*

Argh... But if firefox upstream works and not iceweasel, you still think a third-party program is responsible ? I'm not too familiar of the differences, apart from tradenames having being removed.

I'll try dowgrading my xserver (sounds scary though...).

cheers

Julien
