Subject: rt2570-source: make-kpkg does not compile rt2570.ko
Package: rt2570-source
Version: 1.1.0+cvs20080623-2
Justification: fails to build from source
Severity: serious

I've a 2.6.32 kernel from the repository.

Neither m-a nor make-kpkg seem to invoke CC, hence rt2570 is not built.
I've tried with kernel headers and kernel source installed. Kernel
sources
compile successfully, I'm using the image compiled locally from the
distribution's config.

invoking make from the driver source folder produces:

e...@prometeion:/usr/src/modules/rt2570$ sudo make
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-source-2.6.32'
  Building modules, stage 2.
  MODPOST 0 modules
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-source-2.6.32'
rt2570.ko failed to build!
make: *** [module] Error 1
e...@prometeion:/usr/src/modules/rt2570$
