thanks a lot for your feedback.
I've a final question for Martin then: given that 8.4 is meant to be
released in Squeeze (AFAICT), and given that no versions < 8.3 is going
to, would you consider appropriate to ship the binaries directly in
/usr/bin, without resorting to pg_wrapper?
If yes, I'm ready to finalize the needed patch and possibly NMU-ing the
package (if needed).
