Package: e16 Severity: normal I have been unable to get 1.0.0-3.1 to work at all and have been forced to downgrade to the stable version as sadly snapshot.debian.net is no longer updated. I would suggest you reupload 1.0.0-3 as 1.0.0-4 as the NMU was clearly broken. I am not convinced that any of the files belong in /etc/. Just because they define configuration options doesn't make it sane to directly edit those files. Ideally, load /usr/share/e16/config, then /etc/e16, then ~/.e16 with only /usr/share/e16/config needing to exist to achieve sane behaviour. /etc/e16/ being an option seems just gravy though as the old behaviour seemed to work fine for years.
