Sorry for my wrong assumptions.  earlier version was broken on my 
machine too but got fixed with the newer release, so I just assumed that 
your problem was solved too.

Perhaps it is a local issue with GL on your machine.  Do other 
libraries/applications linked similarly work well on your hardware?

Please test if lightspeed and celestia-gnome works for you (I picked 
some physics-related packages, inspired by your email footer). They both 
link against same gtkglext library which seems to complain.

Sorry - I am not skilled in debugging such issues.

I can help instruct you how to recompile packages with debugging symbols 
unstripped, in case you are interested in digging deeper yourself.



I notice you seem to not use Debian but Sidux.  Please test on a pure 
Debian install to make sure it is not something related to that fork.

Oh, and are you using reportbug-ng?  I encourage you to use the classic 
terminal-based reportbug tool instead, as its output is preferred by 
many Debian developers.
