Sorry for my wrong assumptions. earlier version was broken on my machine too but got fixed with the newer release, so I just assumed that your problem was solved too. Perhaps it is a local issue with GL on your machine. Do other libraries/applications linked similarly work well on your hardware? Please test if lightspeed and celestia-gnome works for you (I picked some physics-related packages, inspired by your email footer). They both link against same gtkglext library which seems to complain. > glibmm-ERROR **: > unhandled exception (type std::exception) in signal handler: > what: Unable to get extension function: glTexImage3D even though the > extension is advertised. > Any suggestions for debugging? Sorry - I am not skilled in debugging such issues. I can help instruct you how to recompile packages with debugging symbols unstripped, in case you are interested in digging deeper yourself. I notice you seem to not use Debian but Sidux. Please test on a pure Debian install to make sure it is not something related to that fork. Oh, and are you using reportbug-ng? I encourage you to use the classic terminal-based reportbug tool instead, as its output is preferred by many Debian developers. kind regards, - Jonas - -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist og Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEAREDAAYFAkoi+zYACgkQn7DbMsAkQLjhoACfRPOPYUJJlMU4EZvhHyV1aaVx MWgAnjzbmBoPNvKLF6IuYxpiXphQaTon =r1MD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
