When OpenOffice.org (OOo) is started from the menu, it ignores any attempt to create/open a database. Attempts to create/open text documents, drawings, presentations or spreadsheets work. If a document is already open, and the user then attempts to create/open a database, OOo crashes with the message: "Due to an unexpected error, Openoffice.org crashed. All the files you were working on will be saved now.
