Okay - You have the latest genisoimage. I fail to understand what the real problem is. Bad ISO's generated by genisoimage ? We will separate the issues… Can you "just" create an dvd-video iso with genisoimage ? You can then try if it is valid with mplayer e.g. : $ mplayer -dvd-device file.iso dvd://1 Is the generated ".iso" valid ?
