Okay - You have the latest genisoimage.

I fail to understand what the real problem is. Bad ISO's generated by
genisoimage ?

We will separate the issues… Can you "just" create an dvd-video iso with
genisoimage ? You can then try if it is valid with mplayer e.g. :

$ mplayer -dvd-device file.iso dvd://1

Is the generated ".iso" valid ? If it is, try to burn it on a DVD, with :

$ wodim file.iso

Does the burn succeed ? Is the DVD readable ?

Best regards,

OdyX
