tag 511482 +moreinfo unreproducible
thanks

Hi,

this bug is marked as "Release-Critical" for Lenny. If it is confirmed, it
could
trigger the removal of genisoimage from the future stable release of Debian.

You have been asked your version of genisoimage on the 14. January - please
respond with the output of:

$ dpkg -p genisoimage|grep Version

I can't reproduce the bug here and your report does not make clear in which
part
of which software you think the bug is. Thus marking the bug +moreinfo
+unreproducible. Please provide a clear "way to the bug" with only software in
Debian.

Note that the script output that you provided contains the following :

genisoimage -dvd-video -V \
my_video /disk2/pauls/movies/my_video/my_video/my_video | builtin_dd \
of=/dev/dvdrw obs=32k seek=0

Which apparently creates a *.iso image that is piped to a non-Debian 'dd' that
(probably) writes directly to /dev/dvdrw . As far as I can tell, this is not a
Debian-supported way of burning .iso's to optical drives.

My plan of action on this bug is the following :

10. Feb. 09 In absence of further information making clear what makes this
                bug "release critical" for the provided Debian tools, I will
downgrade this
                bug to "important".
20. Feb. 09 Planned date for closure of the bug.

Best regards,

OdyX
