How about closing the bug for now (the usual course is tag
unreproducible
and close after a while) so you can reopen it at any time you are able
to reproduce the problem? I don't doubt that the bug is real, but
really
as long as it "magically vanished", it's not a bug that is "present",
either. As such, if you don't object, I suggest closing it for now.
