severity 482764 important thanks Hi Sebastian
Thanks for the bug report. I have a short question to you. You are talking about a "dirty" build environment, which I assume means that it is not a "clean" one, that means just not a fresh install. I would like to know which libsnmp* packages that you have installed. I have not any libsnmp*-dev packages installed on my system which makes me think that maybe I should add --disable-snmp to the build target or add a build conflict. :) In any case I can hardly see this as a serious bug as it is possible to build the package in normal cases. Just not if you have libsnmp*-dev installed. This is the reason why I downgrade the bug. Do not worry, it will be fixed anyway. :) Best regards, // Ola On Sat, May 24, 2008 at 10:58:54PM +0200, Sebastian Harl wrote: > Package: ntop > Version: 3:3.3-9 > Severity: serious > Justification: FTBFS on Sid powerpc > > Hi, > > During a rebuild of your package on Sid powerpc in a dirty build > environment, your package failed to build from source with the following > error: > > In file included from /usr/include/net-snmp/utilities.h:54, > from /usr/include/net-snmp/net-snmp-includes.h:74, > from iface.c:766: > /usr/include/net-snmp/library/container.h: In function `CONTAINER_FREE': > /usr/include/net-snmp/library/container.h:427: error: lvalue required as > left operand of assignment > > (The complete build log is attached to this E-mail.) > > I'm not quite sure if this is caused by a bug in libsnmp-dev.
