With which version? You appear to be replying to the bug closure message resulting from the upload of samba 3.0.25a to Debian unstable, but you reported that you were running the version of samba from stable. What we really need to know is if the packages at <http://people.debian.org/~vorlon/samba/> fix this bug or not, so that we know whether we need to use the other upstream patch for the updated security release.
