But now lets correct that mistake with a RC bug. The thing is: gaim-encryption links with OpenSSL. gaim-encryption is GPL, so it needs a license exemption to actually be allowed to ship with this. It isnt there (how the hell could I miss that?), so we arent allowed to ship it. Please, either get an openssl-exception from Upstream or reassign this bug to ftp.debian.org to remove the package from the archive if that isnt possible. (As I introduced the package I do the reassign in two weeks if there is no sign off progress. :) http://www.openssl.org/support/faq.html#LEGAL2 has a statement from the OpenSSL guys directly, Google knows much more hits for this matter. =2D-=20 bye Joerg * wiggy just looking at gforge-inject output <wiggy> last year I could not run it for months and still not see any new u= sers <wiggy> it just added 19 new users <Mithrandir> it's this bloody active new DAM we've managed to get. --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Joerg Jaspert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- Debian Developer iD8DBQBCQbS4cV7WoH57iskRAgvdAKCBsKo5hQ0oo2pSmfiMuvrO4calbwCfYItk vNC5dFaCLf6wd03a/yQIPfw= =CFdj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 301080-done) by bugs.debian.org; 23 Mar 2005 22:27:37 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 23 14:27:37 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from (mime.fmu.br) [200.182.6.10] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DEEK9-0001WD-00; Wed, 23 Mar 2005 14:27:37 -0800 Received: from [10.28.0.254] ([::ffff:10.28.0.254]) (AUTH: LOGIN [EMAIL PROTECTED], SSL: TLSv1/SSLv3,128bits,RC4-MD5) by mime.fmu.br with esmtp; Wed, 23 Mar 2005 19:23:02 -0300 id 002F031B.4241EC46.0000364B Subject: No problem to begin with From: "Leo \"Costela\" Antunes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Organization: Debian Date: Wed, 23 Mar 2005 19:28:13 -0300 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/signed; micalg=pgp-sha1; protocol="application/pgp-signature"; boundary="=_mime-13899-1111616583-0001-2" X-Mailer: Evolution 2.0.4 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: This is a MIME-formatted message.
