Hi Jason,

As a temporary workaround, edit /var/lib/dpkg/info/argus-server.postrm

and comment out everything from the first case statement to the esac
statement (so the script should only have the initial shebang line and the
stuff that is automatically added by dh_installdebconf)

Then try to purge the package again.

I'll upload a new version with a fixed postrm shortly.
