Hello Michael, The assumption that all postscript printers are affected by this bug cannot be substantiated. Mine is not, for example. The CUPS package is presumably still working for inkjet users. Indeed, printing is still operative for you, admittedly in a way which may be non-optimal. It is evident that the bug having a severity of Grave is not appropriate.
