It seems that since this fix was introduced, connectivity with AIM
version 5.5.3598 no longer works. The reaim.log shows the following:

[Tue Sep 27 22:13:30 2005] [CONN_BH] Connection [192.168.0.20:1602 ->

now in progress [115] (8 9)
This worked with the previous build of reaim
