Package: cricket Version: 1.0.5-13 Severity: important After upgrading from lenny to squeeze I am seeing an issue which seems identical to the old bug #427086. The problem persists even for newly generated RRD files.
I've tracked it down far enough to know that /usr/share/cricket/lib/RRD/File.pm is unable to calculate a realistic value for $offset preventing it from reading a value at line 375. This seems to be because I'm getting values like 1075970048 for $wantedRow. I tried using the alternate/RRD/File.pm instead. The Values section is included, but it prints NaN rather than the actual value. I presume that's due to better error handling than anything else. I'm not sure what to try next. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.4 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages cricket depends on: ii adduser 3.112+nmu2 add and remove users and groups ii cron 3.0pl1-116 process scheduling daemon ii libc6 2.11.3-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii librrds-perl 1.4.3-1 time-series data storage and displ ii libsnmp-session-perl 1.13-1 Perl support for accessing SNMP-aw ii libtimedate-perl 1.2000-1 collection of modules to manipulat ii perl [libdigest-md5-pe 5.10.1-17squeeze3 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages cricket recommends: ii apache2 2.2.16-6+squeeze6 Apache HTTP Server metapackage ii apache2-mpm-prefork [h 2.2.16-6+squeeze6 Apache HTTP Server - traditional n ii logrotate 3.7.8-6 Log rotation utility Versions of packages cricket suggests: pn libsnmp-perl <none> (no description available) ii libwww-perl 5.836-1 Perl HTTP/WWW client/server librar ii perl [libtime-hires-pe 5.10.1-17squeeze3 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction -- Configuration Files: /etc/cricket/config/Defaults changed [not included] /etc/cricket/cricket-conf.pl changed [not included] /etc/cricket/subtree-sets changed [not included] /etc/cron.d/cricket changed [not included] -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
