Hi!
Apper uses PolicyKit for authentication. Is PolicyKit correctly set up
on your system (meaning all olther PolKit apps work)? Are you able to
authenticate when using the command-line tool, e.g. by doing "pkcon
install amor"?

The only thing I know about PolicyKit is its purpose, but apparently, something is wrong with it:

$ LANG=C pkcon install amor

I don't really know what other PolKit apps there are. I am not knowingly using any other application based on PolKit.
