Removal request for source package libdrizzle, building libdrizzle0,
libdrizzle-dev and libdrizzle-doc (all package are of version 0.8-1)

Hallo,

I am the maintainer for the source package drizzle which builds several
packages, amongs others libdrizzle1, libdrizzle-dev and libdrizzle-dbg.

However, there is an ancient version of the drizzle library in unstable -- the
source package libdrizzle. It builds the same -dev and -dbg package (with the
accomplishing libdrizzle0 package)

As apt-rdepends -r libdrizzle0 gives no reverse dependency, it can be removed
without harming other packages.

I reached the maintainter, Monty Taylor on IRC channel #drizzle and he
confirmed the removal should be done:

(22:44:42) coldtobi: mtaylor: I have a question to the package src:libdrizzle
currently in debian. It makes e.g libdrizzle0. I think this version is obsolete
and superseeded by libdrizzle1? OK with you if I file a removal request at
ftp.debian.org?
(22:55:15) mtaylor: coldtobi: please do
(22:55:43) mtaylor: coldtobi: the drizzle7 source pacakge should provide the
libdrizzle1 package

With best regards,
coldtobi
