I do not see that you have touched this part in the current SVN source. It looks OK as PO source. If this is not a problem in PO file, it may be font problem in build environment. Japanese Micho as installed may be lacking some italics form requrested by the build script. Please confirm. As for translation of "pristine" you marked for FIXME, I agree it needs to be translated uniformly.
