I do not see that you have touched this part in the current SVN source.
It looks OK as PO source.
If this is not a problem in PO file, it may be font problem in build
environment. Japanese Micho as installed may be lacking some italics
form requrested by the build script. Please confirm.
As for translation of "pristine" you marked for FIXME, I agree it needs
to be translated uniformly. May I suggest:
* pristine source : 原典のソース
* pristine tarball : 原典の tarball
Rationale: "Pristine" has a few listed meanings:
- Original, pertaining to the earliest state of something:
--> "原典の" (This imply no modification).
- Pure, spotless, immaculate:
--> "無垢の", "純朴な"
