For English, yes. I forgot exactly how ... I see ... You need to
specify non-latin TTF fonts etc. needed for CJK languages. Also
Germans want their latex hyphnation specified. I added latex
customization for hyphnation and font embedded into latex code using
plug-in xslt code. These are required but minor customization. I do
not think codeing style is elegant but works. The work is done by
--backend=xetex to build pdf.
Oh, my makefile may not be safe for large -j value. So there are
rooms to improve but we run make with -j1 or so. So for now its OK.
(In squeeze, there were some build breakage for Debian Reference. It
was some xelatex codes for table. I gave up. I was going to look into
this after the release but have not done so yet. I have been doing other
things such as input method packaging... developer's reference is
simpler and this should be easier to build.)

My big todo is to build all these DDP related packages under some
chroot.
testing (monthly snapshot, updated when chroot installation is RC free
excluding ones admin allow.)
unstable
I think this should be good testing bed for tetex and other text
processing system.
