Next Debian version will have a note added to README.Debian explaining
that:
- Current AUCTeX uses SyncTeX by default if the underlying TeX system
supports it (as it does with TeX Live on Debian).
- Current Xdvik support only source specials, not SyncTeX.
- AUCTeX can be customized to use source specials if desired:
M-x customize-variable RET TeX-source-correlate-method RET
(choose source-specials).
