Please provide some facts or a simple test file in order to reproduce it: there is no valid reason to arbitrary reassign a bug to an unrelated package without a minimum investigation. > Please also read my other reply for details and give me a little time > to respond. Why didn't you you look yourself? The German translation is very outdated in the package, and the “lang” attribute is not even translated… > $ LANG=C msgfmt -v doc/po4a/po/de.po > 75 translated messages, 869 fuzzy translations, 1685 untranslated messages. The attached manpage is built once actually translated the accurate tag: # type: Attribute 'lang' of: <book> #. type: Attribute 'lang' of: <book> #: en/aptitude.xml:143 msgid "en" msgstr "de" ^^ As you can see by yourself “AUTOR” is perfectly translated, and the „German style“ quote are used, so after actually digging a bit, I can confirm that this non issue is “just” an outdated translation one, and I have trouble to understand why one would want to keep such a bug open, #603589 should fix the problem… Reassign it back to aptitude and forcemerge it with 603589 if that makes you happy.
