el-get 3.1 fails to byte-compile on systems with xemacs21 installed,
as its simple.el (for whatever reason) neglects to (provide 'simple):
While compiling toplevel forms in file
/usr/share/xemacs21/site-lisp/el-get/el-get.el:
!! error (("Required feature simple was not provided"))
However, the file does still exist, so substituting load for require
should help:
(load "simple" nil t)
Could you please look into it?
