FTR, the three-argument form of require turns out to work under xemacs only with apel's poe package loaded. Because el-get's emacs-install script doesn't use -(-)no-site-file, it can end up picking that improved version up, but only if apel is already fully installed for XEmacs. -- Aaron M.
