Secondly thanks for the quick responds; since you are still interested

Okay, the links in the copyright file and the description sent me to
something completely different apparently.  I tried downloading the
"BitTorrent Mainline v5" from the link you listed above (just to have a
look), but it gives me a 404.

That sounds good.  On a related note, could I ask you to include a fix
for #645618?  bittorrent is one of the few packages blocking the removal
of the old wxwidgets2.6.  If I understand Olly Betts correctly, it
should be a simple matter of bumping the dependency.

I also checked the Ubuntu diff and the changelog there mentions a couple
of "needs-to-goto-debian" (see [1]).  I filtered out there entries that
appears already to be in the Debian bug tracker (#466274 and #550229)
