Otherwise I will assume you have lost > interest in it. As a torrent download client it's out of date, but the tools for manipulating torrent files are surely used by many things. For example, debian-cd uses btmakemetafile. bittornado also includes its versions of those tools. Making podracer and gnome-btdownload use bittornado instead would be a good step to getting rid of the bittorrent package. -- see shy jo
