I've discovered that the problem is not properly in bsd-mailx but also in exim4. In effect seems that bsd-mailx call /usr/lib/sendmail that call exim4 and if I send a message using LANG=it_IT.UTF-8; exim4 -i ps...@csaricerche.com the field Date is translated in italian.
