The only extension I disabled is the del.icio.us one, but since you don't even have it installed, I'd venture a guess and say it's probably either a common API used by the del.icio.us extension and some other one you have enabled, or some freaky interaction between extensions (which would be a lot harder to find). Unfortunately my XUL-fu is as good as nonexistent, so I'm afraid I can't really help out much further, at least not until someone with more insight points me in the right direction. Keeping my "xul-newbie" hat on, I'd still not rule out the possibility of a problem on Firefox's side, since this could be a leak inside a specific API being used by extensions. But this is moot until the actual problem is found.
