Your patch looks great (and your packaging skills less rusty than mine).

Let us coordinate our uploads in experimental. Just provide me with a
URL to your .dsc and I'll upload both at once.

I'd suggest adding an entry in NEWS.Debian just so that our users are
aware of what is happening.

Would you agree comaintaining lzma?
