Unfortunately, the NMU didn't make it to the archive because of: Reject Reasons: memtest86+: lintian output: 'statically-linked-binary usr/lib/memtest86+/memtest86+.elf', automatically rejected package. memtest86+: If you have a good reason, you may override this lintian tag. I suspect that ignring the lintian tag is the appropriate action, here, given the specific status of memtest binaries, but that seems to be a too invasive change in what's supposed to be an l10n NMU, not a general-purpose NMU aimed at fixing each and every possible issue in the package.
