block 327456 by 327551 thanks Hello, I had a look at this bug. When the man page is built on a C locale (which should be the case on the build daemons), the accents are converted to character entities (e.g. é).
I submitted a wishlist bug to xmlto to allow the generation of the man page in the same encoding as the XML file (ISO-8859-1 in this case) instead of the current locale charmap. If this patch is refused, and no other mean is found, the man pages will have to be pre-generated by the translator.
