Thanks for reminder. I knew scim's lack of QT4 is going to be problem but now lack of GTK3 too. Unless someone stands up to write such things, I guess reasonable thing to do is drop and conflict with GTK2 and QT3 based immodule packages. Then configuration files im-switch or im-config should automatically set $XMODIFIERS to xim while unsetting $*_IM_MODULE if SCIM is installed. Back to the configuration of the old days.
