Description:
It's Additional information for bug 621094.
In Debian Squeeze workstation with KDE and Gnome (also kdm and gdm3
or gdm installed) /usr/bin/who shows the user who logged onto Gnome
only through gdm or gdm3. And output of /usr/bin/who have 2 lines for
user who logged onto KDE trough gdm or gdm3.
And /usr/bin/who output have no lines for user who logged onto Gnome
trough kdm and have 1 line if user logged onto KDE trough kdm.

The behavior of trouble
1. log onto KDE through kdm and in first TTY console and run in tty1
/usr/bin/who: /usr/bin/who works fine - it will show the both users -
user in graphical terminal (pts/0) and in first tty (tty1).
2. log onto Gnome through kdm. In first TTY run "who" command. The
output will show only the user in tty1.
3. Then run "dpkg-reconfigure kdm" and select gdm or gdm3 and reboot.
4. log onto Gnome through gdm3 (or gdm) and in first TTY console and
run "who". The output will show both users:
     paul tty1 2011-04-21 10:44
     paul tty7 2011-04-21 10:07 (:0)
5. log onto KDE through gdm3 (or gdm). In first TTY run "who". The
output will have 3 lines - one line for user in TTY1 and 2 lines for
user in KDE logged on the tty7 and pts/0!
