Package: fityk Version: 0.9.7-1 Severity: normal Just opening fityk on testing, causes my modest single core 2.2 GHz AMD Turion 64 processor to spike to a sustained 70% usage while fityk is idle (i.e. not being actively used, just in the background). This comes with an extra 20% to Xorg. When closing fityk, cpu usage for Xorg goes back to its normal levels.
I am not able to reproduce this bug on two very disparate systems running pure sid. The first is an Intel Core2 Duo 2.0GHz running amd64 and the second is a single core Pentium 2 2.4GHz running i386. In neither case did I see any spike due to fityk.
