May I suggest that you send translation updates with the file having the right name (i.e. ca.po). For nis, the package maintainer (Hi, Mark!) is well aware of translation stuff and *knows* that Catalan's ISO 639-2 code is "ca", but, in some cases, this might confuse less clever maintainers.
