I know, but nothing says so in the installation guide. Because in people's mind, Macs are not PCs. At least, the "supported hardware" section should probably mention which Macs are actually PCs, and just like the interoperability with windows is explained for x86, and interoperability with MacOS is explained for ppc, interoperability with MacOS should he explained for x86.
