Do you mean by "didn't detect" that the module for it was not loaded automatically and that you had to modprobe it manually? If so, this should be fixed in daily builds of installer for Etch as the PCI id for the controller is now in the discover1 database: 105a3319 ide sata_promise PDC20319 (FastTrak S150 TX4) Is sata_promise the correct module for the controller?
