That is a strange statement: if you use no driver module at all, you can not use the harddisks. The kernel has to use a driver module to be able to talk to the hard disk controller. My question was: which module are you using. Or do you mean that you do not have any drives connected to the FastTrak RAID controller now; or that you do have drives connected to it, but do not use those drives?
