Actually I did. You should be aware that you have a high priority question (tftpd-hpa/directory) that I get asked every time I install the package then. :) Also, you don't validate a single value of those the user provides and this is as friendly as letting users use $editor to configure the package (maybe worse). For cpufreq, validating values or providing valid values for users to select from is a lot of guess work. My opinion is that trying to do that would cause more problems than it solves and again that's why, as I initially said, implementing a configuration interface for it would not be worth.
