Yes, their values actually uses 800x480

with vga=806 in kernel options at grub prompt, same problem
(needs also "video=lxfb:800x480")

the xorg geode driver uses only the modelines authorized by the
Option "PanelMode" line (plus the 640x480 one).

about xorg.conf, I also (after an unsuccessful restore from the cd they
sent me... which not touch grub ; and complete fresh debian re-install)
try to use parameters from fbset -x to build the lines : it also fails
to the same video problem, where the console framebuffer is stable
(at v fq=112Hz) !

also used CVT default frequency (59.xx Hz) ones with same result.

I'm really puzzled too :)
